DAY: Litchfield Historical Society is organizing a town-wide Digitization Day on Sunday, June 4, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Staff from The Connecticut State Library will help digitize photos, documents, textiles, and other Litchfield-related artifacts to further our research and understanding of the town. The Society will retain a copy of the digital file of the items brought in, for use in research, publicity, exhibits, and programming and inclusion in the Connecticut Digital Archive. Most items will be returned to everyone in the same day and participants will receive a copy of the digital file. This event is free and open to the public.
