Gallery artists to host summer paint-out
WOODBURY » The artists of Fine Line Art Gallery invite the public to a unique learning opportunity on June 17, when they will paint en plein air on the gallery lawn, share technical secrets, and demonstrate their creative process. All are welcome to watch, learn, and enjoy art and refreshments in the heart of Historic Woodbury.
New paintings, photography, prints, pottery, and jewelry will be on exhibit and for sale.
The event will take place at the Fine Line Art Gallery, 319 Main Street South in Woodbury from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. An artists’ reception will be held from 12-5 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Admission is free. Ample parking.
Fine Line Art Gallery, a cooperative venture consisting of 15 artists, began presenting this exhibit more than 10 years ago as part of its ongoing effort to celebrate and encourage the work of regional artists.
Among the artists painting out this year are Lorraine Skelskey Chapin, Mally DeSomma, Bonny Hartigan, Carla Sternberg Koch, Carol T. Moore, Adele Moros and our friends Ellie Boyd and John J. Forgione.
This show is the perfect place to find a unique gift or a special piece of artwork to beautify and warm the home. Throughout the show, artists will be available to discuss their work, their media, and the creative process.
