BOOK SALE: Beekley Library book sale will be held Sunday, June 11, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. with books, recorded books music, DVDs, children’s books and games and delicious baked goods too, at the New Hartford Elementary School, 40 Wickett Street. Admission is free except for early bird preview. TRUCK SHOW, FLEA MARKET: The Connecticu­t Yankee Chapter of the Antique Truck Club of America, will hold its annual truck show and flea market on Saturday, June 10 and Sunday, June 11 starting at 8 a.m. at the Bethlehem Fairground­s, 384 Main Street, North (Route 61) in Bethlehem. The featured truck this year is a 1969 Peterbilt, Model 359, owned by Bill Mitchell from Danbury, CT. Old or New - trucks, tractors, motorcycle­s, and constructi­on equipment - all welcome. Admission $10 per unit for the 2 days. There is a $30 fee to set up a flea market space for the 2 days (insurance is not required). There will be a Rubber Duck Rodeo on Saturday and a Slow Truck Race on Sunday at 1 p.m. Spectators $3, seniors $2, and children age 12 and under are free. LAUREL PARADE: Winsted’s annual Laurel Parade and Laurel King and Queen crowning begins Sunday, June 11 with the parade stepping off at 2 p.m. from Boyd Street, led by Marshall Sheila Sedlack. The parade concludes at East End Park for the crowning. If it rains, the crowning will be held at the First Church of Winsted, 95 North Main St., Winsted. All are welcome. FILM FORUM: The Fifth Annual Documentar­y Film Form will be held on Sunday, June 11 at 11:30 am at the Millerton Moviehouse in Millerton, NY. Presented by The Salisbury Forum and The Film Works of the Moviehouse, admission is free and everyone is invited. GUILDED STROLLS: Join George McCleary, the Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden’s Horticultu­rist, for a guided stroll through Ferriday Gardens.
