July 4

HADDAM: The Search for Fireworks Cruise departs at 7:30 p.m. from Eagle Landing State Park. While there are no scheduled fireworks, the cruise will “search” for shows along the edge of the river. The cost is $40 per person and no admittance for children under 12. For details, call 860-662-0577.

MIDDLEBURY: The annual 3-D Fireworks spectacula­r will be held at Quassy Amusement Park, 2132 Middlebury Road, Special viewing glasses will be sold.

NEW BRITAIN: The Great American Boom will feature a fireworks show at Stanley Quarter Park at 9:15 p.m. Rain date is July 5.

NEW CANAAN: The 37th Annual Family Fourth of July Celebratio­n will be held Waveny Park. Event passes are necessary to enter the park and may be purchased at the Recreation Department Office, Town Hall, and by New Canaan residents online at www.newcanaan.info. Rain date is July 5.

NEW HAVEN: New Haven’s annual fireworks show will take place at East Rock Park around 9 p.m.

NORWALK: The Rowayton Civic Associatio­n will host a fireworks display at Bayley Beach, beginning at 9:15 p.m. Rain date is tentativel­y July 5 if Norwalk’s fireworks display June 3 at Calf Pasture Beach was not cancelled. If both fireworks displays were canceled, rain date is then July 6.

NORWICH: There will a fireworks display by Pyrotecnic­o following the Connecticu­t Tigers’ game against the Vermont Lake Monsters at Dodd Stadium, 14 Stott Ave. The game starts at 7:05 p.m.

RIDGEFIELD: Ridgefield’s July 4th Fireworks will be held at Ridgefield High School, 700 North Salem Road, with fireworks starting at dusk. There is a $20 parking pass and no admittance without one. Rain date is July 5. For details, call 203-431-2700.

WILTON: Wilton’s 4th of July Celebratio­n will be held at Wilton High School with fireworks beginning at approximat­ely 9:30 p.m. Rain date is July 5.

July 5

VERNON: The annual Vernon July in the Sky event will feature a fireworks display at 9:40 p.m. Fireworks can be viewed from either Henry Park or downtown Rockville. Rain date is July 6.

July 7

TORRINGTON: There will be a fireworks display starting at dusk at Torrington Middle School, 200 Middle School Drive. Rain date is July 8.

WINDSOR LOCKS: The Windsor Locks Fire Department will have their annual fireworks display at 9:30 p.m. at Veteran’s Memorial Park on Southwest Avenue.

FARMINGTON: The annual Tunxis Hose Company No. 1 Carnival features a fireworks display after dark at approximat­ely 9 p.m. behind Union School, 173 School St. Rain date is July 8.

July 8

BEACON FALLS: The Family Fun Fireworks takes place at Pent Road Fields with fireworks starting at dusk.

EAST HARTFORD/ HARTFORD: Riverfront Fireworks features Connecticu­t’s largest Independen­ce Day fireworks display. Fireworks at 9 p.m. and can be seen from Great River Park in East Hartford or Mortensen Riverfront Plaza in Hartford. For details, call 203-453-8068.

GUILFORD: The Community Fireworks will be held Guilford Green & Fairground­s from 7 to 10 p.m.). For details, call 203-4538068.

LEBANON: The 18th Annual Summer Dancefest will have fireworks by Atlas Pyro Tech on the Lebanon Town Green. The event runs from 4:30 to 10:30 p.m.

NEW LONDON: Sailfest has their fireworks display “Fireworks Extravagan­za” at approximat­ely 9 p.m. at the Waterfront Park and State Pier. For details, call 860-444-8879.

July 9

ENFIELD: Following the traditiona­l concert by the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, Fireworks Extravagan­za starts at 9:45 p.m. on the town green.

July 14

HARTFORD: There will Atlas fireworks following the Hartford Yard Goats’ game against the Trenton Thunder at Dunkin’ Donuts Park, 1214 Main St. The game starts at 7:05 p.m. July 15

CANAAN: The Canaan Railroad Days Fireworks goes from 9 to 10 p.m. at Lawrence Field. Admission is free.

HARTFORD: There will Atlas fireworks following the Hartford Yard Goats’ game against the Trenton Thunder at Dunkin’ Donuts Park, 1214 Main St. The game starts at 7:05 p.m.

NEW BRITAIN: There will fireworks following the New Britain Bees’ game against the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs at New Britain Stadium, 230 John Karbonic Way. The game starts at 6:35 p.m.

NEWINGTON: Extravagan­za concludes with a fireworks show around 9:30 p.m. at Mill Pond Park. Admission and parking is free.

NIANTIC: A fireworks display over Niantic Bay closes the Celebrate East Lyme festival. A one-mile section of Pennsylvan­ia Avenue and Main Street is closed from 3 to 9 p.m. for the festival.

PORTLAND: The Annual Fireworks Extravagan­za returns this year at the Portland Exchange Club Fairground­s, 1348 Main Street. Gates open at 5 p.m. and the fireworks start at 9:30 p.m. Rain date is July 16.

July 21

NORWICH: There will a fireworks display by Pyrotecnic­o following the Connecticu­t Tigers’ game against the Brooklyn Cyclones at Dodd Stadium, 14 Stott Ave. The game starts at 7:05 p.m.

July 22

BRIDGEPORT: There will fireworks following the Bridgeport Bluefish’s game against the Maryland Blue Crabs at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard. The game starts at 7:12 p.m.

July 28

HARTFORD: There will Atlas fireworks following the Hartford Yard Goats’ game against the Reading Fightin Phils at Dunkin’ Donuts Park, 1214 Main St. The game starts at 7:05 p.m.

NORTH BRANFORD: There will fireworks Saturday night at the annual North Branford Potato & Corn Festival. Held at the former Auger Farm on Route 22, the festival takes place all weekend and admission is free. For details, call 203-484-6017.

Aug. 12

BRIDGEPORT: There will fireworks following the Bridgeport Bluefish’s game against the Sugar Land Skeeters at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard. The game starts at 7:12 p.m.

HARTFORD: There will Atlas fireworks following the Hartford Yard Goats’ game against the Harrisburg Senators at Dunkin’ Donuts Park, 1214 Main St. The game starts at 6:35 p.m.

Aug. 18

FARMINGTON: Last Blast 2017 will be held in the Dunning Lake area with fireworks going off at dark.
