One of the most iconic looks in comics history, there have been many versions of Spider-Man over the years. Here are a few variations of the web slinger through his 55-year run.

1983 Spider-Ham

After a scientific experiment gone wrong, Peter Porker, a spider transforms into a pig. With his new powers, he dedicates his life to fighting crime.

1984 The Symbiote

An alien symbiote suit tries to bond with Parker's body. Later becomes the Venom.

1992 2099

Miguel O'Hara, a Mexican Irish teen, becomes Spider-Man of the future on the year 2099.

1994 Scarlet Spider

Dubbed the Scarlet Spider, Ben Reilly was the most genetically stable of the many Spider-Man clones.

2006 Iron Spider

Tony Stark builds Spider-Man a high-tech suit with mechanical arms and gliding ability.

2011 Miles Morales

Miles Morales, a black Hispanic teen, takes on the mantle of Spider-Man after Parker dies.

Superior 2013 Spider-Man

A dying Doctor Octopus transfers his mind into Parker's body and sets out to outdo him as a hero.

2015 Spider Gwen

In an alternate timeline, Gwen Stacy gains spider powers and becomes Spider-Woman. In a failed experiment, Peter is turned into a lizard-like creature and is defeated in a fight with her. After he dies from his injuries, she is blamed for his death.
