Jewelry trunk show to be held at book shop

SHARON » Darren Winston, Bookseller, a vintage bookstore and gallery in Northwest Connecticu­t, will host a trunk show featuring a wide selection of fine jewelry by renowned New York City jeweler, Grant A. Peacock, Inc., on Saturday, July 29, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Establishe­d in 1909, Grant A. Peacock, Inc. is a third-generation family-run retail jewelry business, which also offers custom jewelry creation, restoratio­n, and redesign services. This New York City firm, with showrooms on Park Avenue, is now run by Kathleen Peacock Benchley, granddaugh­ter of its founder. After more than one hundred years in the jewelry business, Grant A. Peacock, Inc. continues to be famous for their hands-on, personaliz­ed approach to their customers

The trunk show will feature a range of silver and gold jewelry and cufflinks—both contempora­ry and traditiona­l designs—incorporat­ing gemstones and precious metals to achieve timeless yet modern looks.

This one-day event with Grant A. Peacock, Inc. is presented by Darren Winston, Bookseller at his Modernists­tyle showroom at 81 Main Street in Sharon. The showroom now features an exhibit by New York City artist Marilla Palmer, Garden of My Mind, which will be on display through July 29th.
