GRANGE MEETING: The regular meeting of Riverton Grange will be held on Friday, Aug. 4, at 7:30 p.m. when last minute details will be discussed about the Riverton Grange Fair to be held on Saturday, Aug. 19. SUMMER CONCERTS: Torrington Parks and Recreation announce the schedule for the annual summer concert series, which will be held on Tuesdays and Fridays starting June 20 at Coe Memorial Park. CHICKEN BARBECUE: St. Paul’s Chicken Barbeque will be held Saturday, Aug. 5, 5-7 p.m. at the church at 802 Bantam Road (Route 202) in Bantam.
