Bank to host caregiver seminar

LAKEVILLE » Salisbury Bank is offering a seminar which will focus on smart financial steps and plans for seniors and their caregivers. In this seminar, the following questions will be answered: What financial plans do you have in place now? What documents must you have ready to truly be prepared?

Presenter Janet Carlson is the Executive Director of Health Pathfinder (formerly PharmaCares). Prior to launching Health Pathfinder, Janet spent over 20 years in the healthcare area, working in patient care, pharmaceuticals, medical software, and medical advertising and marketing. Health Pathfinder is a non-profit company that helps people access health insurance, medicines, and healthcare advocacy. Darilyn Woods, Vice President and Trust Officer with Salisbury Trust Wealth Advisory Services will also be presenting. Darilyn works primarily with non-profit organizations and their boards, as well as with complex families, helping them make sound financial decisions. Darilyn began working in the banking industry over 15 years ago as a Socio-Economist in Brazil and then moved into Private Banking in New York.

The program will be held Sept. 13, 5-6:30 p.m. at Geer Village Senior Community, The Lodge, in the Hollenbeck Room, 77 South Canaan Road, Canaan.
