REGISTRATION SESSION: Cornwall Registrar of Voters will hold a voter registration session, Tuesday, 9-11 a.m. at the Cornwall Town Hall.
WINSTED REGISTRAR: The Winchester Registrars of Voters will conduct a mandatory session for the purpose of updating the preliminary voting list before the Nov. 7 municipal election. The session will be held Tuesday, 2-4 p.m. The office, Room 203 in Town Hall, will be open for its regular hours that day as well, from noon-4:00pm for voters who wish to register.
REGISTRAR SESSION: Hartland Registrar of Voters will be preparing a preliminary registry list after updating any changes to the current voter registration list, Tuesday, 10 a.m.-noon.
MEET AND GREET: Harwinton Democratic Party Candidate Meet and Greet will be held Tuesday, 5-7 p.m. at Harwinton Town Hall. Concerned about the proposed residential zoning changes, the repercussions of the possible switch to using constables vs. resident state police troopers, the impact of the local opioid epidemic? DRUMMING FOR PEACE: Drumming for Peace at sunset on the evening of the full moon takes place at Church of Christ Congregational, 5 Old Middle Street, at the intersection of Routes 4 and 63 in Goshen. Participants may bring their own drums or use the drums and rhythm instruments that will be provided. Any type of hand drum may be used. PIG ROAST: Eureka Grange hosts its Annual Pig Roast on Saturday, Oct. 7, 5-6:30 p.m. at Eureka Grange Hall, 777 Litchfield Turnpike (Route 202), in the Nepaug section of New Hartford.
