Ford Coley to perform at Parrott-Delaney Tavern

NEW HARTFORD — John Ford Coley, best known as half of the Grammy nominated duo England Dan & John Ford Coley, is set to perform a solo show at the is going to be performing in New Hartford on November 3 at the Parrott-Delaney Tavern in New Hartford on Nov. 3

Active throughout the 1970s, the duo released 11 albums and nine singles in their career and are best known for their 1976 single, "I'd Really Love to See You Tonight", a No. 2 pop hit and No. 1 Adult Contempora­ry hit.

They had six Top 40 singles between 1976 and 1979. Among their classic hits are "Love Is the Answer,” "I'd Really Love to See You Tonight,” "Nights Are Forever Without You,” "It's Sad to Belong,” and "We'll Never Have to Say Goodbye Again.”

After the duo disbanded, Ford Coley began an acting career, making several television and film appearance­s in the 1980s. He returned to an active touring schedule in the 1990s, along with serving as co-producer for artists such as Eddie Money.
