TRUNK OR TREAT: The City of Torrington Parks & Recreation Department, in conjunctio­n with the Torrington Lions Club and the Torrington Municipal & Teachers Federal Credit Union will be hosting a Trunk or Treat event on Saturday, Oct. 21, 4-6 p.m. on Main Street in Downtown Torrington. Anyone interested in participat­ing should arrive on Main Street at 2:30 p.m .to decorate their vehicle. Trunk or Treat Vehicle Registrati­on forms are available at the Parks and Recreation Department until all spaces are filled. Children under the age of 15 are encouraged to wear their costumes to the event as they go trunk or treating. The event will also feature hayrides, stilt-walker, open suitcase circus station, DJ with music, and more. TEST DRIVE FUNDRAISER: Torrington High School’s Music Department and Torrington Ford are teaming up for Ford's Drive 4UR School Fundraiser this Saturday Oct. 21, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Torrington High School Music Department will receive $20 for every test drive.

OUTDOOR FARMERS' MARKET: Litchfield Hills Farm-Fresh Market continues until Oct. 14, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Center School parking lot, rain or shine. Following that, the market moves indoors to the Litchfield Community Center. Over 15 vendors participat­e offering seasonal field-fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs and much more.
