REGISTRARS OF VOTERS: All Registrars of Voters' offices in Connecticut will hold a statewide voter registration session for those who have turned 18, become a US citizen, or moved to Connecticut since October 31st of this year. This registration session is also open to members of the Armed Forces, and former Armed Forces members who have been discharged within the calendar year. This session will be held on October 31, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
TRICK OR TREAT: Trick-or-Treat at the Cornwall Library, Oct. 31, 5-8 p.m. The Library will be open for trick or treating; come show off your Halloween costumes.
MULTI MEDIA SHOW: Sally Van Doren will present a multi-media show including visual art, a poetry reading, and a performance piece, Oct. 31-Dec. 9, with a reading and recepton on Nov. 11 at 5 p.m. at the Cornwall Library. The public is welcome to attend.
TRICK OR TREAT: Friendly, fun and safe Trick-or-Treat options for Halloween in Winsted include Gilbert School's 5th Annual TGS Trick or Treat from 4:30-6 p.m. at the school, featuring trick-ortreating throughout the Gilbert School and a special spooky path, and from 6-8 p.m. at Center Firehouse on Elm Street, where you can come trick-or-treating, tour the firehouse, meet the members. FUNDRAISER: A pasta dinner will be held Nov. 2, 5-8 p.m. to benefit the Bassler family, whose son, Brian, was recently diagnosed with Burkitt’s Leukemia.
