KEEP AN EYE ON

• Getting their chance: Freshmen Megan Walker and Andra Espinoza-Hunter have taken advantage of their playing time on UConn’s current road trip. Walker had a career-high 13 points in a victory over UCLA while Espinoza-Hunter topped her scoring total in the previous four games with eight points in seven minutes against Michigan State. Can they build on those performances?

• Huskies getting heathier: All-American Katie Lou Samuelson will miss her fourth game in a row due to a left foot injury, but it’s possible she could be back for the Huskies’ next game on Dec. 3 against Notre Dame. Sophomore forward Batouly Camara hasn’t played since injuring her knee in the preseason. She’s been more involved in drills at practice and in pre-game drills, so she is close to making her UConn debut after playing at Kentucky as a freshman.

• Strength in numbers: Ten Nevada players have seen action in all five games this season under first-year head coach Amanda Levens. Each of them is on the court for more than 10 minutes per game and none average more than 25 minutes. The top seven players are separated by just 21 minutes in the five games while nine different Wolf Pack players have started games.
