Litchfield Winter Harvest Dinner set

LITCHFIELD — The Litchfield Hills Farm-Fresh Market will host a Winter Harvest Dinner, Saturday, March 3, 6-10 p.m. at the Litchfield Community Center. Executive Chef Samantha Tilley, of Mockingbir­d Kitchen and Bar, will create a dinner featuring locally sourced ingredient­s in the middle of winter right here in Northwest Connecticu­t. Pastry Chef Barbara Mojon-Gugnoni of Troy Brook Bakery will create another unusual and exquisite dessert.

Dinner ingredient­s are provided by vendors and other local producers including Bantam Bread, Laurel Ridge Farm, Savor Cookies, Beltane Farm, Maple View Farm, Sun One Organic, Berry Ledges Apiary, March Farm, Troy Brook Bakery, Brookside Farm, Mohawk Mountain Mushrooms, Wave Hill Bread, Cato Corner Farm, Olive Oil Factory, Wild Carrot Farm, Earth’s Palate Farm, Plum Brook Chocolate and Winding Drive Jams. All proceeds from the event will support the market’s educationa­l programs.
