Northwest Chamber set to host annual job fair

The Northwest CT Chamber of Commerce will host the 14th annual Job Fair on March 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Torrington’s City Hall Auditorium.

The fair is free and open to the public. Every year, there are over 30 companies representing various industries including: education, transportation, communications, finance, manufacturing, health care, nonprofits, insurance, and more. Attendees are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resume and some companies will have job applications to fill out on the spot.

The annual Job Fair is sponsored by the City of Torrington, The Northwest Regional Workforce Investment Board, FM 97.3 WZBG, Connecticut Department of Labor, The Register Citizen, Republican-American and CTjobs.com.

The Chamber, in partnership with Central Holidays West, is organizing an unforgettable trip to Portugal, Nov. 2-10. Interested parties should attend our informational session on Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the Chamber Office, 333 Kennedy Drive, Torrington. A representative from Central Holidays will be in attendance to discuss the specifics of the trip and answer any questions.
