The Register Citizen (Torrington, CT)
PET OF THE DAY
Howie has been living the spoiled life here at Connecticut Humane Society for a few months now. The doctors had to work to help Howie lose some weight and live pain-free from a past injury. Howie needs to go to a home with no other pets, so that he can remain the center of attention in his new home. Being a larger fellow, he doesnt always enjoy exercising, but it is good for his health so some play time with toys and laser pointers is a must. He wants to live with cat savvy kids over age 12. Howie does have some special needs but he still has lots of life to live and love to give. Ask the adoption counselor to explain when you visit in Newington. Remember, the Connecticut Humane Society has no time limits for adoption. Inquiries for adoption should be made at the Connecticut Humane Society located at 701 Russell Road in Newington or call toll free: 1-800-452-0114.
