New show to debut Friday on Water Street

Public invited to free exhibit

TORRINGTON — The next show at Five Points Annex Gallery, at 17 Water St., Torrington, is “Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent.”

The show opens Friday and continues through March 25, with an opening reception on Friday from 6-8:30 p.m.

The public is welcome free of charge.

“Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent” showcases the work of seven LGBTQ artists working in a variety of discipline­s such as sculpture, mixed media, photograph­y, printmakin­g, acrylic, and musical performanc­e.

The artists featured in the Annex Gallery are Adrian Pulido, Alexis Crowley, Eric Casey, Nathalia DaSilvia, Neil Daigle Orian, Mina Elisa and Brett Phox.

Gallery hours are Monday and Wednesday 1 p.m.-5 p.m., and by appointmen­t; email Aedan Obrien at aedanob@gmail.com.

Admission is free.

All Five Points and Five Points Annex Gallery exhibition­s and educationa­l events are free and open to the public.

Five Points Gallery and Annex Gallery will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 1.

About the Gallery: The Five Points Annex, an expansion of the Five Points Hartford Art School/University of Hartford Launchpad program, is a community pop-up gallery managed by the Launchpad artists.
