STUDENT ART SHOW: The Torrington Library is partnering with local schools to host a student art show through March 28. The public may view student work from 4 to 8 p.m. every Wednesday and Thursday and from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and March 1 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. A closing reception will be held March 28 from 5 to 7 to congratulate the students. Light refreshments will be supplied by Torrington Downtown Partners.

Women in the Armed Forces During WWII, a presentation by John Cilio, will be held March 20, 3 p.m. at the Oliver Wolcott Library, 160 South St., Litchfield. EGGSTRAVAGANZA: Eggstravaganza in Burlington will be held Saturday, March 24 at Lake Garda School. After a Curious Creatures animal presentation in the cafeteria at 10 a.m., Peter Rabbit will lead children to the egg hunt at 10:40 a.m. Cost is $3 per child, $11 for families. Bring your own basket. SENIOR LUNCHEON: Litchfield’s Senior Luncheon, hosted by Litchfield Parks and Recreation, will be held at 12 p.m., March 22 at the Litchfield Community Center. PEACE ACTION RALLY: Winsted Area Peace Action is planning a local rally in Winsted, in support of the Parkland, Florida, student-led marches throughout the country for safe gun laws and safety in schools. The rally will be held Saturday, 12:30 p.m. at East End Park, coinciding with marches in Washington D.C. and Hartford.
