OPEN COURTHOUSE DAY: Open Courthouse Day, hosted by the Greater Litchfield Preservation Trust, will be held on Sunday,, April 8, 1-5 p.m. at the old county courthouse. Members of the trust will be there to welcome people, to guide them, and to answer questions. Also, visitors will be able to see conceptual plans for altering the interior and the rear of the building in order to repurpose the courthouse for the Litchfield town hall.
