NCCC holding spring open house

WINSTED — Northweste­rn Connecticu­t Community College will hold its Spring Open House on Tuesday in the Founders Hall auditorium.

The program begins at 6 p.m. with a welcome from the President of Northweste­rn, Dr. Michael Rooke. Current NCCC students will speak about the opportunit­ies that their Northweste­rn education has provided them and admissions representa­tives will discuss the applicatio­n process.

At 6:30 p.m., an academic and student services resource fair will be held in the adjacent Draper Conference Center. Students will be able to meet faculty and staff to discuss courses, programs of study, the admissions process and career and transfer opportunit­ies. Students will learn why Northweste­rn is the best choice for an excellent and affordable education.

Also at 6:30 p.m., students interested in Veterinary Technology, Nursing, and NCCC’s Fine Arts programs will be able to attend presentati­ons and tours. In addition, financial aid informatio­n sessions will be held at 6:30 and 7:15 p.m.
