AspenDream holds dinner theater auditions

-

Connecticut’s awardwinning interactive comedy wedding and murder mystery dinner theater is selecting new cast members for its summer and fall season. Actors and singers ages 18 to 80, any ethnicity may apply. Singing a plus but not essential to the role. Paid positions. Non-equity. State actors only.

AspenDream Productions is chock full of upto-the minute spontaneous humor. During the course of the evening, a murder is committed and the audience gets to questions the suspects and becomes involved in the funniest mysteries in the annuals of crime. Shows are scripted and improvisational in nature. Five shows have been sold out throughout the state. They have appeared in 72 cities and performed for over 20,000 guests and have raised $1 million for charities and nonprofit organizations.

Auditions will consist of reading from the script and improv exercises.

Rehearsals are in Harwinton or Thomaston. There are generally three intensive rehearsals on Sundays at 4 p.m. for each performance. Actors do not have to be in every show of the season. Shows are throughout the state. Good transportation is essential.

Those interested are asked to bring a head shot or recent photo, and resume. For information, visit and like the Facebook page or review our website: http://www.aspendreamproductions.com/Auditions.html
