CHIP SEALING STARTING: Starting on Friday, June 15, The City of Torrington will begin performing chip seal on the following streets: Burr Mountain Road, Denison Drive, Ella Grasso Avenue, Greenwoods Road; Industrial Lane, Mountain Road, Old Burrville Road, Spencer Road, Torringfor­d West Street (from West Pearl Rd going North). This project should be completed in approximat­ely 2 weeks with minimal disruption to daily activities. Do not park any vehicles on these streets between the hours of 7 a.m.-5 p.m. while work is being done. Vehicles in the way and requiring removal will be towed at the owner’s expense.

EXPLORERS CAR SHOW: The annual vintage and collector Car Show sponsored by the Torrington Police Explorers, will be held on Friday, June 15, 5-9 p.m .on Main Street in Torrington. The rain date is June 22.
