SUMMER KICKOFF: The Litchfield Historical Society is celebratin­g the start of summer vacation with a week of free afternoon crafts and games for families at the Tapping Reeve Meadow. RIBBON CUTTING: A ribbon cutting and celebratio­n for the four businesses who have made Mad River Lofts their home: Blue Dandelion Yoga, M. Wilk Studio, Re| Creative Agency, and artist Chuck Dmytriw, will be held June 25, 4-6 p.m. Join Friends of Main Street, the Winchester Economic Developmen­t Commission, Town Selectmen and Staff and friends of the businesses in an official welcome t our new business neighbors. TORRINGTON MARKET: The Torrington Farmers Market is open the season at St. Paul’s Church on Charles Street, Torrington, Tuesdays from 3-6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and will continue weekly through October. Local farmers will have fresh produce, baked goods, honey, maple syrup, soaps, crafts, and other seasonal items for sale.

LITCHFIELD SUMMER CONCERTS: Great musicians visit the green every week for Litchfield’s Park and Recreation­s’ free Wednesday night Summer Concert Series. Concerts begin at 7 p.m. on the Litchfield Green. On June 27, hear Last Fair Deal. Donations to St. Michael’s Food Pantry encouraged. No pets. Bring chairs or a blanket; clean up before you leave the gree.
