Lynn and Ron met 61 years ago at the Art Center College of Design, now in Pasadena, Calif. After earning credits for his masters degree, Ron moved to New York where he began to freelance as an illustrator for numerous magazines, books, and advertising agencies including Seventeen, McCall’s, Good Housekeeping, G.Q., and Reader’s Digest. His clients have included IBM, Revlon, Dana Promotions, Bantam Books, Ballantine Books, McGraw-Hill, MIT, American Express, and General Electric.
Lynn remained in Los Angeles where she worked for Stevens Biondi diCicco Art Studio. Her clients have included Bermuda Shop, Montaldos, Doops, Hattie Carnegie, Moygashel, Barn Shop, and Collector’s Series-The Card Collector.
They were married in 1960. When they started a family, Lynn took time off to raise their two children, Tod Benton Jones and Dana Jones Chevalier (both artists).
