CAMP MOE CARNIVAL: Camp MOE invites the community for an evening of fun for all ages, Aug. 2, 4:30-7 p.m. at 1145 Brandy Hill Road, Torrington with carnival games run by the camp counselors, a bounce house, an inflatable obstacle course, and a dunk tank. Hot dogs, chips, soda, water, popcorn, cotton candy, and ice cream will be available for a small charge. Admission is one non-perishable food item to be donated to a local food bank. NORFOLK FARMERS MARKET: The Norfolk Farmers Market will be held on Saturdays through October, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at 19 Maple Avenue. On July 7 and continuing every other week through September, Tracy Hayhurst will be “cooking the market” to inspire your own farm to table meals, and will demonstrate how to create simple, healthy and delicious recipes using seasonal foods from local farms.
