Learn at Lunch: A New Era of Digital Marketing

The Chamber will host a Learn at Lunch on Thursday, Aug. 9 at the Chamber Office, 333 Kennedy Drive, Torrington. The subject matter will be A New Era of Digital Marketing and will be presented by Conquest CEO, Lance Leifert. The seminar will take place from 12 -1:30 p.m. and will include lunch. The cost to attend is $10 for Chamber members and $20 for nonmembers.

The topics to be discussed at the seminar include: how digital marketing has evolved over our lifetime, what are the current trends in modern marketing approaches, understanding how to design and promote your website, how to get clicks online with SEO / SEM, avoiding the common pitfalls when marketing with social media, and understanding the importance of online reputation management and online reviews.

This is the first in a series of digital marketing seminars that will help you to understand the changes in digital marketing and how it impacts your business. After this course, the instructor will allow feedback from the class in selecting focus topics to present next in the seminar series.

Health Care Option for Companies with 20+ Employees

Companies with 20 or more employees are invited to learn more about the new “Chamber Health Plan”, a self-funded option being offered through the Chamber Insurance Trust, at an informational meeting on Aug. 22. The luncheon will be held at Green Woods Country Club, 300 Torringford Street, Winsted at 12 Noon. There is no charge to attend.
