67th annual fair, flea market

WINCHESTER — Winchester Grange will hold its 67th Annual Grange Fair, Flea Market at the Grange Hall, Aug. 11, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

See the area's best fruits, vegetables and baked goods. Buy some summer reading at the book sale and visit the flea market featuring local vendors.

There will also be children's games, entertainm­ent and food from Café 74. Winchester Grange is located at 100 Newfield Road, Winchester Center.

There is plenty of time to enter an exhibit at the fair. Flower, baking, collection­s and fruit and vegetable exhibits will be accepted until 11:00 AM the morning of the fair.

A limited number of outdoor vendor spaces are available. All types of vendors are welcome including crafters, tag sale booths, farmers’ market booths, informatio­n booths and more. More informatio­n on having a space at the fair is available by contacting Winchester Grange Program Coordinato­r Ramona Fassio at lecturer@winchester­grange.org or by calling 860-482-2733.

Getting to Winchester Center: From Winsted, take Route 263 to the Winchester Center green. From Torrington, take Newfield Road (at the corner of Winsted Rd. and N. Main St.) to the Winchester Center green.
