NORFOLK FARMERS MARKET: The Norfolk Farmers Market will be held on Saturdays through October, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at 19 Maple Avenue. Continuing every other week through September, Tracy Hayhurst will be “cooking the market” to inspire your own farm to table meals, and will demonstrat­e how to create simple, healthy and delicious recipes using seasonal foods from local farms. Additional cooking demonstrat­ions by visiting authors are scheduled throughout the season and will be announced on Facebook and www.norfolkfar­mersmarket.org. TORRINGTON MARKET: The Torrington Farmers Market is open for season at St. Paul’s Church on Charles Street, Torrington, Tuesdays from 3-6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and will continue weekly through October. Local farmers will have fresh produce, baked goods, honey, maple syrup, soaps, crafts, and other seasonal items for sale.
