BRIDGEWATER—Nashville Drive will bring their high-energy sounds to Bridgewater on September 29.

The popular five-piece Connecticut-based band is the headline attraction for the Little Britches Boots & Britches Ball, set for 6 to 10 p.m. at the Bridgewater Pavilion on Sarah Sanford Road East. The event will raise funds for Little Britches Therapeutic Riding, a local nonprofit that has been helping individuals with disabilities since 1979.

Nashville Drive performs original tunes as well as top modern country hits that are sure to get everyone dancing. The band appears throughout the Northeast and has opened for national recording artists such as Craig Campbell, Colt Ford, Molly Hatchet, and Casey James.

Besides music and dancing, the event will feature a barbecue dinner and a silent auction. Up for bid are a plane ride, a timeshare stay at a resort in Florida, museum passes, movie tickets, artwork, and much more. Tickets are $50 per person. The event is BYOB, but mixers and soft drinks are included.

Little Britches Therapeutic Riding currently serves roughly 80 individuals from 29 area towns. “The program gives them a chance to take part in an athletic activity, build strength and fitness and gain confidence,” Little Britches president Janie Larson explains. Sponsors of the event include Dobson Pools of New Milford, Maple Bank Farm of Roxbury, and North America Equipment of Danbury.

To buy tickets or learn more, go to the group’s website (littlebritchesct.org) or call Alice Daly at 203598-2595.
