MILTON TAG, BAKE SALE: Milton Congregati­onal Church of Litchfield will hold its annual tag and bake sale Sept. 21-22, 9 a.m-3 p.m. and Sept.23, 12-3 p.m. at the church, 548 Milton Road, Milton Center, off Route 202 in Litchfield. The tag sale will offer everything from furniture to antiques, jewelry to linens, books to lamps, tools to toys. Church ladies will sell their famous homemade jams, jellies, pickles, relish, and baked goods. Door prizes feature items donated by local area merchants. This year there are a cord of firewood from each of two donors. A “Seasonal Celebratio­n” room will have decoration­s for any occasion. Cash or checks are accepted. Don’t forget to have a gourmet hot dog from Salty Dog.

The walk leads to a hidden monument marking the birthplace of Charles Finney, famous in his day as the father of American revivalism and president of Oberlin College. BANK OPEN HOUSE: Litchfield Bancorp will hold an open house at its Washington Depot location, Sept. 22, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at 11 Bryan Plaza in Washington Depot. Meet Laura Berendsohn, the Branch Manager, as well as Litchfield Bancorp staff. Special guest, Dimitri Rimsky the son of the late artist Feodor Rimsky who painted the mural located in the branch, will provide local insight and a historical background on this stunning piece of art.

NORFOLK FARMERS MARKET: The Norfolk Farmers Market will be held on Saturdays through October, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at 19 Maple Avenue.
