TORRINGTON — As it moves into its 18th year of therapeutic services to the communities within northwest Connecticut, Torrington-based Christian Counseling Connection Inc. has begun to adjust to its own new environment.

The agency’s relocation occurred in late May, and its new location is 43 Daycoeton Place. Moving the agency in the midst of downtown allows for increased visibility and easier access for new and existing clients, members said.

“We’re delighted with our new professional and cost-effective space, which will allow us to more fully concentrate our resources on our clients,” said Elaine Channon, the agency’s office manager.

Executive Director Kathleen Patterson expressed enthusiasm about the new location.

“It is always difficult to pick up and move from a location you get familiar with, but this relocation has brought in new energy and focus to our mission of offering support and help to those who come seeking counsel,” Patterson said. The agency will host an open house Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. For information, call 860-626-1112.
