CANDIDATES DEBATE: The Lakeville Journal and the League of Women Voters of Litchfield County will once again co-sponsor a candidates’ debate for those running for the state 64th House and 30th Senate districts. CANADIAN HORSE EXPO: The first ever Canadian Horse Expo will be Oct. 13, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Harwinton Fairground­s, 80 Locust Road, Harwinton. The day will consist of under-saddle/in-harness demonstrat­ions, equine-related seminars and clinics as well as a Breeder’s Barn featuring farms, horses for sale and stallions standing at stud from Canada and the US.
