Not-So-Spooky Halloween Bash

TORRINGTON — The Torrington Library is pleased to announce the Not-So-Spooky Halloween Bash, taking place on Saturday, Oct. 13, 5 p.m .to 8 p.m. Admission is $1 per child / $2 per adult. $10 Max for a family. Advance tickets available at the library now. All proceeds will benefit the library.

The Not-So-Spooky Halloween Bash with feature:

Jack O’ Lantern Contest and Display: Deliver your carved, decorated, or painted pumpkin to us on Friday the 12th or Saturday the 13th and be entered to win a prize. Pumpkins will be lit and on display throughout the first floor of the Library. Prizes will be awarded in three age groups: Adults (18+); Teens (11-17); and Kids (3-10). An overall “best in show” will also be awarded. Pre-Register on our website at www.torringtonlibrary.org

Not-So-Spooky Haunted House: Join the Teen Advisory Board for a haunted house on the 2nd floor of the library.

Ye Olde New England Tavern will have hot dogs, chips, kidfriendly beverages, coffee, and apple cider for sale in the TSB Community Room. There will be tables and chairs set up for guests to enjoy your food. Halloween Hot Dog Special: one dog, a bag of chips, & drink of choice for $5. Add chili and cheese for $7.

Yummy-Mummy Bake Sale & Gift Shop: Purchase a baked good to feed your Halloween sweet tooth or a holiday-inspired item from our Gift Shop.

Halloween Stories: At 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. for Halloween themed stories with Miss Jill in the Teen Room.
