WINSTED TRUNK OR TREAT: Trunk or Treat with the Winsted Recreation Department will be held Oct. 27. TORRINGTON TRUNK OR TREAT: The City of Torrington Parks & Recreation Department, in conjunctio­n with the Torrington Lions Club, Torrington Municipal & Teachers Federal Credit Union, and Doyle’s Medical Supply will host a Trunk or Treat event, Oct. 27, 4-6 p.m. in the parking lot behind the Torrington Armory located at 153 South Main St. Those decorating their cars and giving out candy must register with Parks & Recreation and arrive by 2:30 p.m. You must provide your own candy. TOUR-DE-FOREST: Norfolk will host the first ever Tour-de-Forest, a bike ride through Great Mountain Forest, Oct. 27. ROAD TO ROAD JAM: The Warner Theatre and Two Roads Brewing Co. will present “The Road to Road Jam: A Battle of Jam Bands,” in the Warner’s Studio Theatre on Friday, Nov. 2 from 7-11 p.m. Tickets are $15, 21and older only. Doors open at 6 p.m.; a variety of Two Roads beers will be available for purchase. Five area jam bands, Cousin Fungus, Flipper Dave, The HippoCampu­s, Soul Case and No Mind, will compete for the first place prize.
