Discount rides offered to Access Health CT enrollment centers
Residents traveling to an Access Health CT enrollment center or fair can get a 20 percent discount on their fare if they use the ride-booking service Lyft.
The annual enrollment period for Connecticut’s public health insurance exchange is open until Dec. 15.
“We understand that transportation can be a barrier for people who are looking for inperson help to shop, compare and enroll in health insurance,” said Andrea Ravitz, Access Health CT’s marketing director, in a release. “Our partnership with Lyft is making it easier for Connecticut residents to get to any of our Enrollment Centers or Fairs to sign up for healthcare coverage and get the free help they need.”
Riders must give a code to the Lyft driver in order to receive the discount.
