TORRINGTON MIDDLE SCHOOL DEBATE TEAM ‘OUTSTANDING’
Representing Torrington Middle School, eighth grade students Ashley Petzel and Ivy Kang earned an award as one of the five most outstanding teams at the Connecticut Middle School Debate League’s winter tournament, held on Jan. 26 in Bethel. Credit also goes to their teammate Calista Oria, who was a key speech writer and trainer.
