VETERAN CEREMONY: American Legion Post 44 of Bantam, Post 27 of Litchfield and Post 173 of Morris will honor Revolution­ary War veterans during Litchfield’s Living History Day, Sept. 7. This will be the 359th Veteran of the Month ceremony and, in honor of Litchfield’s 300th Anniversar­y, it will be the first time it has not taken place at the All Wars Memorial in Bantam.

CLOCKTOWN FAIR: Thomaston Woman's Club’S 39th annual Clocktown Arts, Crafts and Vendors Fair in Seth Thomas Park, Thomaston, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Sept. 8. More than 25 crafters, artists and vendors, Children's Section with face painting and a craft table, White Elephant Table and free drawings for select prizes.
