Knitters are always on the lookout for quick and easytoknit socks. These socks make the perfect project, especially if you are a beginner knitter, or are intimidated turning a heel and toe.
The unique spiral ribbing used in these socks eliminates any need for heel and toe shaping. This ribbing helps the socks hug your feet in all the right places, making them the perfect fit. This is also a good project to try your hand at working in the round using double pointed needles.
The rib pattern is a knit three, purl three repeat throughout, keeping the knitting easy to work and remember. Once you work a repeat, there is little need to look at the pattern again until you get to the toe shaping, which is also quite simple.
These socks are worked in a worsted weight yarn which makes them that much faster to knit. They make a great sock for boots, Crocs, or as a cozy bed sock. This special super wash wool yarn is machine washable for easy care and comes in nice selfpatterning multi colors. The pattern includes options for traditional sock weight yarn.
