56 Incumbent: No Current job: Own The Village Restaurant Education: Torrington High School; Southern Connecticut State University The top issue you will address if elected: When elected I will improve communication, transparency and enhance the use of technology between the Board of Selectman, Education and Finance as well as town appointed boards and commissions so that we are all moving towards the common goal of quality services at a reduced expense to the taxpayers.
Other important issues: CHANGE. Reducing Litchfield’s debt which currently is $25 million, FOSTER collaboration between Litchfield and Region6 school systems, ENCOURAGE fresh ideas to welcome new business and families to put roots down in Litchfield, SUPPORT our natural resources and recreational tourism which will boost our community and our regions economic prosperity.
Family: Grateful for the life I share with my husband of 30 years Greg Raap , twin daughters Emily and Stacey and their husbands Kien and Maxwell. Our beautiful rescue dog Trixie that we adore.
