71 Incumbent: Yes Current job: Attorney/ Retired Judge CT Appellate Court Education: Wamogo Regional HS; Manhattanville College; University of CT School of Law The top issue you will address if elected: The Board of Selectmen must be transparent, such that citizens will be encouraged to participate in not only identifying and prioritizing issues, but committed to being involved in the resolution of those issues. The Board must lead the planning process for the town, such that limited resources are raised and expended in the most effective way for the benefit of all in the town.

Other important issues: Consolidation of school services; environmental protection; strategic planning; facilities identification and management.

Family: My daughter, Sarah Zivic, 33, lives in Denver, CO; my sister, Mary Cianciolo, lives in Torrington and taught there for many years. My mother was a firstgrade teacher at Litchfield Center School for most of her teaching career. I grew up in Goshen, but our family had many friends in Litchfield.
