Yale athletics disgust

-

What is this costing Yale for the athletic administration to hire an outside group to keep us football fans out of the Bowl? Word has it they were hired because the new athletic administration doesn’t trust the regular Yale people to do the job. I agree! What normal people would block tailgaters from leaving their tailgates and going in to watch a football game, or use the bathrooms?

When I attend the Yale football games now, I feel like I am in a foreign country with a dictator, trapped behind a metal fence with a guard at the gate. Totalitarianism at its worst. They are exercising dictatorial control over every aspect of the game, our freedom and our will. What is next, electrifying the fence?

Most fans in the YUAD lot are going in either the first half or the second half of the game. Due to the fact they must buy one ticket for the first half, one ticket for the second half, 2 tickets for the rest rooms, two tickets to get back in the YUAD lot, for their tailgate and cars. That’s six tickets at $12 each $72, times two, for couples $144. This is not even counting the children.

Other fans with YUAD passes are just not going to the games this year. They are totally disgusted with the new athletic administration policy and cannot understand how President Salovey can allow this to continue. The Bowl is emptying out, more and more every game. That means even less money for Yale athletics. Yale can forget any future endowments from the new alumnus who are being affected by this

The new athletic administration is going to totally bankrupt the Yale sports program, starting with football, than hockey, and right down the line. These Colgate people have got to be removed, now! It is apparent the new athletic director hates Yale football.
