Special thank you for United Way campaign

A very special thank you to all of you for working on the campaign this year. Under the direction of John Seagrave and Anita Rosa, along with the new ideas and creativity they both brought to the table, we have again accomplished the daunting task of engaging the public in our mission and delivering a very good financial result from everyone’s efforts.

You all make the United Way campaign special in your own way, the time, talent and treasure each of you share with the United Way set an example for potential donors and new volunteers. If you are a new volunteer, thank you for stepping forward and being part of a our dynamic team. If you are a seasoned volunteer thank you for your continued service, loyalty and dedication to raising money to support the wonderful work of our United Way agencies.

The annual campaign is an exercise in patience and perseverance; it’s not for the faint of heart. Your willingness to push through all the emails, phone calls, deliveries and followup is a testament to our strength in numbers and ability to deliver what at times seems impossible. I believe the success of the campaign is a result of a team of volunteers that will it to come together ontime and exceeding expectations. John, Anita, Owen, Terri and Lida led us to victory, a true celebration of achievement that will have lasting impact on our community.
