Seminar offers residents help on local transportation
TORRINGTON — Charlotte Hungerford Hospital will host “Know How to Go,” a free seminar on transportation options in Northwest Connecticut, from noon to 1 p.m. Feb. 10.
The program will be held in the Hungerford Center Conference Room, 780 Litchfield St., Torrington.
Topics will include information about access to public, paratransit and ancillary transportation as well as programs and other resources for seniors and people with disabilities. Presenter will be April Chaplin, Northwest CT regional mobility manager and ombudswoman for the
Kennedy Center Inc., WCAAA. Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging is sponsoring. Light refreshments will be served.
