Seminar offers residents help on local transporta­tion

TORRINGTON — Charlotte Hungerford Hospital will host “Know How to Go,” a free seminar on transporta­tion options in Northwest Connecticu­t, from noon to 1 p.m. Feb. 10.

The program will be held in the Hungerford Center Conference Room, 780 Litchfield St., Torrington.

Topics will include informatio­n about access to public, paratransi­t and ancillary transporta­tion as well as programs and other resources for seniors and people with disabiliti­es. Presenter will be April Chaplin, Northwest CT regional mobility manager and ombudswoma­n for the

Kennedy Center Inc., WCAAA. Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging is sponsoring. Light refreshmen­ts will be served.
