Darius Rucker charity concert rescheduled to 2021
The upcoming Darius Rucker charity concert, presented by Trantolo & Trantolo scheduled for Aug. 29 at Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center, celebrating the160th anniversary of the nation’s first Boys & Girls Club in Hartford, has been rescheduled to Aug. 28, 2021, according to a statement.
“I was impressed to learn how much the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford impacts kids’ lives in a positive, safe way. I’m proud to use my music to help celebrate more than 160 years of great futures,” said three-time Grammy Award winner
Rucker, who has a careerlong history of supporting charitable causes, in a statement. “I look forward returning to Simsbury in 2021 to help Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford celebrate their 161st anniversary.”
Event organizers said all tickets and tables purchased for the 2020 concert will be honored on the rescheduled date. If ticketholders wish to keep their tickets and/or tables for 2021, Trantolo & Trantolo will guarantee the 2020 ticket pricing and table selections. For those who purchased their tickets on line and wish to receive a refund, visit trantololaw.com/concert for refund options. Ticketholders have through Sept. 1, 2020 to request ticket refund; after this date tickets and tables will not be refundable and will remain valid for the Aug. 28, 2021 concert at Simsbury Meadows Performing
Arts Center, according to the statement.
Those who purchased their tickets at Fitzgerald’s Foods in Simsbury can get refunds by bringing in their tickets to the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Box Office, July 22-24, 1-6 p.m. For those who purchased their tickets at any Highland Park Market in Farmington, Suffield, Manchester or Glastonbury can receive refunds directly from their store, organizers said.
