TORRINGTON — Torrington Public Schools are participat­ing in the Community Eligibilit­y Provision (CEP) as part of the National School Lunch Program for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year, according to a statement. Under this provision, participat­ing schools provide free breakfast and lunch to all students at all times. All students enrolled in the schools listed below will receive meals through the School Breakfast Program (SBP) and National School Lunch Program (NSLP) at no charge. Household income applicatio­ns are no longer required to determine eligibilit­y for free or reduced-price meals at schools participat­ing in the CEP, according to the statement.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided at no charge to all students who attend all Torrington Public Schools schools, including Forbes Elementary, Torringfor­d Elementary, Vogel-Wetmore Elementary, Southwest Elementary, Torrington Middle School and Torrington High School.
