The Voice of Art to host ‘Warren: The Secret Garden’

The Voice of Art will host “Warren: The Secret Garden,” a virtual & venue show at The Litchfield Inn. The exhibit includes select artworks that demonstrate creativity and originality through artistic sensibilities and specifically inspired by both natural and/or manmade landscapes/surrounding in the Town of Warren CT. This unique art & cultural event is made possible by a CT CARES Acts Grant and Sustainable CT collaborated with a number of local businesses of Warren and surrounding towns and the Warren residents.

The Voice of Art will create a 3-D walkthrough virtual show, 24/7 online, through TVOA’s Virtual Gallery including a virtual opening reception and a digital catalog available at the TVOA website. Also, with the community’s safety in mind, the traditional show will be open to the public at The Litchfield Inn with entry based on reservation through the TVOA website as local guidelines permit (https://www.thevoiceofart.org/contact).

“This community art event, the “Warren: The Secret Garden,” will showcase how art can elevate a community and The Voice of Art is proud to have the support of Sustainable CT and be a recipient of its Community Match Fund which further empowers the community to play a role in bringing this event to life” said Hannah Jung.

By re-capturing landscapes of farms and everyday life in the community through the eyes of artists, TVOA is looking to presenting the Town of Warren as a most desirable small-town destination, which will help bring well deserved attention to local businesses and art communities which will translate into a boost to the economy. In setting this example, this event can help town residents build a stronger sense of community and pride even during this time of uncertainty and economic challenges. All works are available for sale with proceeds supporting The Voice of Art’s future art programs for the Litchfield Hills community.

To make this Crowdfunding campaign project possible, we need to raise a total of $3,925 that will be matched by Sustainable CT by Nov. 2. As of Oct. 20th, the fund has raised $3,470.
