HARTFORD’S CONFERENCE SCHEDULE IS OUT

The America East conference released its basketball schedules on Monday. A new wrinkle in the 2020-21 season is that teams will

back to back games at a site to cut down on travel and other COVID-related issues.

Hartford men’s team will open at home with games against Maine on Dec. 19 and 20. The Hawks’ first conference road trip will be at New Hampshire on Dec. 27-28. Defending conference regular-season champion Vermont will come to the Chase Arena in West Hartford for games on Jan. 23 and 24.

The women’s basketball

program will kick off conference play with games at Maine on Dec. 19 and 20 before playing host to New Hampshire on Dec. 27 and 28.

Hartford women’s team will return four of the top five scorers including Jada Lucas, the only double-digit scorer in Morgan Valley’s first season at the helm. The men’s squad returns starters Hunter Marks, Moses Flowers and Miroslav Stafl, who combined to start 97 games a season ago.
