‘Taz’ Niederauer performing in Ridgefield
Guitarist Brandon “Taz” Niederauer is set to perform March 6 in two “socially distanced shows” at the Ridgefield Playhouse.
Brandon starred in the musical “School of Rock” on Broadway. He was nicknamed ‘Taz’ by his guitar teacher at his first lesson at Rock and Roll University because his fast guitar playing reminded him of the Tazmanian Devil from the Bugs Bunny Looney Tunes cartoons. In addition, he has appeared on many television shows including: The Ellen Show, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Good Morning America, The View, and more.
Taz has shared the stage with multiple members of the Allman Brothers Band, as well as a variety of other notable musicians, including Slash, Lady Gaga, Buddy Guy, Stevie Nicks, Jon Batiste, Dweezil Zappa, Eric Gales, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, and countless others. In Oct. he was featured in a new Bootsy Collins track, “Jam On,” alongside Snoop Dogg.
