USS INDIANAPOLIS: The Indianapolis’ final resting place remained a mystery for more than 7 decades, until an expedition launched by philanthropist Paul G. Allen discovered the ship in Aug 2017, 18,000 feet below the sea. Hear story of Captain Charles Butler McVay III, a late Morris resident and the only captain in U.S. history convicted of losing his ship in wartime.
