Fill a basket with spring bunnies

There’s still time to whip up some easy crochet baskets in time for Easter.

With a chunky novelty yarn in fun colors, and a P crochet hook, you can have a basket done in a couple of hours. The baskets are started at the bottom and worked their way up. You can choose to make a handle or not. Knitters can also work a knitted version in the round on a large set of double point needles, changing to a set of circular needles.

For knitters who don’t mind spending just a little more time knitting, In Sheep’s Clothing also offers its exclusive felted Easter basket design, which is kitted in fun self-striping wool ane is felted in the washing machine once it’s knitted.

Of course, Easter baskets aren’t complete without a bunny. Once again, the magic of one ball of self- striping wool is perfect for a delightful, patchwork-looking bunny. The bunny is worked up in easy to knit pieces, stuffed and sewn together.

In keeping with fibery fun, leftover yarn from the Easter bunny can also be knit up to the cutest felted eggs ever. These eggs are eco-friendly and may be reused year after year. Gather together some of your scrap yarns and try out the following pattern:
